BAIN Downtown Meetings are held each
month on the last Friday, starting with a friendly reception
(snacks and soda are provided) so members, old and new,
along with guests can “mix & mingle.” Announcements are made
about upcoming BAIN Events, and then an expert speaker
shares his or her knowledge for about an hour before opening
the floor to a lively Q&A session. Monthly Meetings are FREE
to Members; $10 for guests. ($5 for members of BAIN
Suburbs.)
Once a month one of our
Members
graciously opens his or her home for a breakfast “coffee.”
It’s a great way to spend time with old friends and meet new
ones, offer your latest restaurant tips, rave about the polo
match you just saw, or refer someone to your favorite
hairdresser (or plumber!) … in other words, share your Buenos Aires experiences in a warm and relaxed setting.
There is no charge for our monthly Morning Coffee Meetings.
(members only).

Originally designed to welcome
new members to BAIN, this monthly lunch now boasts as many
old-timers as it does newcomers. Each month a different
restaurant is selected. It’s a great way to socialize with
both old and new members – and discover a new culinary
experience. Luncheons are payable on-site. Open to members
and non-members.

One of our most popular
activities, each month BAIN members rendezvous at a local
eatery. Restaurants vary -- from simple parillas to haute
cuisine -- to offer a joyful exploration of the
every-expanding panoply of epicurean delights in Buenos
Aires. Notices are sent out to the membership (usually the
week prior) to announce the locale, menu options and
approximate pricing. Non-members are also welcome. Dinners
are payable on-site.

BAIN’s Pot Luck Supper Club
meets
approximately every four weeks at a different
member's
home. Congenial and appetite-prone
participants bring a
home-made dish and bottle of
wine. Pro-rated payment for the
maid who cleans up
can apply.
We usually keep the good spirit
flowing (so to speak) after our Monthly
Meetings by
gathering at a nearby pub to share a few drinks with old
friends and new.

Explore Buenos Aires and its
wealth of culture by joining one of our private tours. We
visit local museums – both well-known and hidden jewels – as
well as public institutions (such as El Congreso). Walking
tours are often added, and most outings end with an optional
lunch. $10 Guest Fee for non-members accompanying BAIN Members

Our Reading Club meets once a
month, covering a nice variety of novels and nonfiction. We
choose a book to be read before the next meeting, and aim
for a lively discussion at our monthly get-togethers to
create a rewarding, enlightening and fun experience for all.

Here's a chance to
exchange a book you've read for a new one. Each person may
exchange up to 5 books. It’s a great way to clear your
bookshelves… and replace your old books with new ones… Our
Book Exchange is scheduled bi-monthly

Ladies and gentlemen of BAIN

The Tennis League plays two seasons
annually in San Isidro and San Fernando. Register in August for
the Spring season (September through November); register in
February for the Fall (March through May). Each season finishes
with the Transpack Tournament/Awards Banquet. The tennis league
is open to all levels of play, from coaching for brand-new
players to singles and doubles for experienced players.
Do you have some spare time on
Wednesday afternoons? Mah-Jong is not a difficult game to
learn, and it’s a good way to make new friends while
enjoying a chat and a cup of tea at each other's homes. All
ability levels welcome, even complete beginners.
